All our glass lined reactors are in accordance with the DIN 28136.
Three types of glass lined reactor design AE, BE, CE which can be provided with jacket or half-coil and a wide selection of agitation solutions.
CE Type
CE type glass lined reactors are heavy weight reactors with large top head main cover that allows for installation and removal of one-piece agitators.
BE Type
Closed-welded reactors without a large main opening for higher pressure ratings. This is available in volumes of 630 liters up to 33,000 liters. For reactors in BE design, two-piece agitators, such as the Multiflex system or the Cryolock system are used.
AE Type
Clamped or flanged-top reactors designed with a removable top head for today’s clean ability demands. These reactors are available in volumes ranging from 63 liters to 6300 liters.

GLASS LINED HEAT EXCHANGERS:
Heat Exchangers are pieces of process equipment built and designed for maximum efficiency of heat transfer between two different machines or mediums. In most industrial processes, the loss of heat is very wasteful and inefficient. Because of this, heat exchangers were created to capture and reuse heat that would otherwise be lost to the environment.
In general, a heat exchanger functions by allowing a hot fluid to flow through the exchanger past a cold fluid without intermixing the two. Heat flows from the hot fluid to the cold fluid, heating the cold fluid and cooling the hot fluid. This allows the heat to be transported and reused rather than simply discarded. The two fluids will flow past each other, with one usually being in a narrow pipe while the other flows outside the pipe in a surrounding shell.

GLASS LINED COLUMNS:
Shimi Azar Jam has long experience in designing column systems to meet individual requirements. Our columns are manufactured to handle the toughest applications. In addition to the standard assemblies, SAJ can also fabricate special designs for customer’s specific process requirements, including special conical, eccentric, stepped and angled column sections.
Glass-Lined Steel Column Features such as clamps, gaskets, split flanges and bolting are all supplied with a complete column system.
GLASS LINED PIPES, VALVES & FITTINGS:
To control corrosion, protect product purity and ensure easy cleaning and smooth flow, SAJ glass lined pipe and fittings provide a full protection. All pipe and fittings are made from low carbon seamless steel pipe with forged steel stub ends. Blind flanges and spacers are also of carbon steel construction. SAJ glass lined pipes are supplied with loose split flanges. The inner wall and stub end faces are glass lined too. Also we manufacture a range of valves that effectively control the flow of liquids, gases and slurries in reactors and other process equipment.
